DSM, Delft, The Netherlands, and VRI BioMedical, Perth, Australia, have signed a collaborative research, development and commercialization agreement. The commercial partnership combines the strengths of DSM in the areas of fermentation and probiotic cultures with the strengths of VRI to prove the health benefits of bio-therapeutics. The joint venture will enable the development of new bio-therapeutic products for pharmaceutical, food and veterinary applications.
